# Profile

> Learn how to update your personal account's profile.

## Overview

Your profile in [Settings > Profile](https://nodexpanel.com/settings/profile) controls how other members of your organization see you.

  Organizations let you group nodes and servers by brand or community. This feature is currently in development.

## Name

You may change your display name in [Settings > Profile](https://nodexpanel.com/settings/profile). Other members of your organization can see this name.

## Email address

Your email address uniquely identifies your account. Nodex also uses it to send important notifications.

### Changing your email address

To change your email address, open [Settings > Profile](https://nodexpanel.com/settings/profile), enter the new address in the email field, and click **Submit**. Nodex sends a verification email to the new address. Click the link in that email to complete the change.
